Having read the negative reviews I was somewhat nervous using Martinez Tree and Sod to deliver and install three pallets of sod this week. I spoke to Mr. Martinez and decided to pay a little extra for 'prep'. On the scheduled day, two trucks arrived with a crew of five, fresh cut sod and sod cutting equipment. They trimmed the edges of my existing lawn and used a roller so the sod fit perfectly. They could not have been more professional or polite. The entire job took about three hours. I could not be more pleased. Not only were his prices much less than other sod companies but they did a great job. I would recommend them highly.

After searching for a company to do my sod replacement, oak tree trimming and a couple of pine tree stumps, I got 3 estimates including Martinez Tree and sod, the 2 other companies came 2 days later and gave me a ridiculous high prices, Martinez was really reasonable, he came back and did the work very professional and he gave us instructions on how to water the sod and fertilizer that we should use and maintaining afterwards, also how high we should set the mower to mow Saint Augustine grass. Martinez was very knowledgeable and professional. I'll recommend Martinez Sod with my eyes closed.
I was a little worry after reading some bad reviews about Martinez but I'm really happy I listen to my heart and gave Martinez a chance

I would recommend this company. I called to price a pallet of st augustine Floratam sod and the cost to install it. Mr Martinez asked me if I needed the area prepped. I told him NO we were ready to go the old yard was out and the ground was raked and level. His prices were the best. I ordered 4 pallets to be installed. OH MY GOD..the team of 6 came in three trucks they got to work immediately and worked like a team. Fantastic work and they cleaned up the job site. The sod is very healthy, looks gorgeous. The team was corteous and polite. Id hire them again for any other sod job. And i recommend them to be the best. One note if you do not prepare your own yard for the sod tell him you need a rip out and prepare and then an install. I guarantee you wont be sorry.

i signed a contract with mr Martinez to replace my grass with zoysia grass, first i was hesitant, he was the lowest, but i went ahead with him.
He started the job on time to spray the grass by chemical ,at the day he scheduled to remove the old grass and put the new sod, he send his crew at least 6 worker and all kind of equipment.
he finished the job on time. and i give him 5 star. super job.
i recommend mr Martinz to do your next job, also i will have him do my next door .
